Showroom Concept

Flagship laundry in Valencia — demo center + real business + franchise foundation

Core Idea

Open a showroom laundry in Valencia that simultaneously operates as a real commercial laundry (self-service) and as a demonstration center for Accutech equipment targeting prospective franchisees. Three years of real operational data — the best argument when selling a franchise.

🏪
Self-Service Laundry
A fully operational laundry for local residents. 14 kg and 18 kg washing machines, dryers, sneaker washing station. 7 days a week, unattended.
🎯
Accutech Demo Center
The full Accutech equipment lineup in real working conditions. Prospective franchisees come to see, touch, and talk to real customers.
📊
Proof of Concept
3–6 months of real data: revenue, machine utilisation, servicing costs. An honest foundation for scaling through franchising.
🤝
Accutech Dealership
The showroom is the basis for an exclusive distribution agreement with Accutech in Spain. Margin on equipment sold to franchisees.
👟
Unique Differentiator
Sneaker washing station (HWS140) — rare in Spain. Attracts a young audience and creates a media effect (Instagram, TikTok).
🌍
Scaling
Goal — 10 franchisees in the Valencia region within 2 years. The showroom is a living training center and permanent showcase for new partners.
Revenue Model
A
Self-Service Laundry
Revenue per wash/dry cycle. Average ticket €5–8. Forecast: €3,000–5,000/month at 60–80% utilisation.
B
Franchise Sales
One-time franchise fee €5,000–10,000 per location. Target: 10 locations in 2 years = €50,000–100,000.
C
Equipment Margin
As Accutech dealer: 15–25% markup on each €20,000–25,000 equipment package. From 10 locations: €30,000–60,000 margin.
D
Royalties (5–8%)
Monthly royalties from each location's revenue. At €4,000/mo × 10 locations × 6% = €2,400/month passive income.

Showroom Equipment

Recommended configuration based on the Accutech (Shanghai) catalogue — optimised for the showroom

Configuration Logic

A more compact configuration was chosen (6 units, $17,100 EXW) instead of the full demo lineup ($25,700). Sufficient to demonstrate the entire Accutech range: small front-load, large front-load, stacked dryers, and the unique sneaker station. Optimal for a 30–45 m² space — machines are compact (0.8–1 m wide), stacks save floor space.

# Equipment Model Qty EXW Price Total
1 Front-load washing machine 14 kg
Hard-mount · 3-phase 400V
HW140 ×2 $2,500 $5,000
2 Front-load washing machine 18 kg

Configuration Comparison
  • Showroom (6 units): $17,100 EXW → CIF €19,300
  • Full lineup (7 units): $25,700 EXW
  • Savings at launch: ~$8,600
  • Lineup coverage: all machine classes + unique sneaker station

Total Investment

Detailed opening budget for the showroom — conservative estimate based on the Spanish market

# Item Amount (EUR) Notes
1 Equipment CIF Valencia €19,300 6 Accutech units · sea freight from Shanghai
2 Customs + VAT (IVA 21%)
VAT reclaimable
€4,050 Import duty ~0% (HS code: laundry equipment). VAT 21% reclaimed via quarterly IVA (VAT) declaration.
3 Installation + electrical + utilities €3,000 400V three-phase power, plumbing, ventilation (industrial ventilation mandatory)
4 Premises rental (deposit + 3 months)
30–45 m² · ground floor · residential area
€3,600 ~€900/mo (deposit + 3 months). Areas: Benimaclet, Patraix, Campanar. 30–45 m² is sufficient for 6 units — machines are compact (0.8–1 m wide), leaving room for a walkway and waiting area.
5 Fit-out + signage €3,000 Minimal: flooring, lighting, branding, shelving
6 Bizum integration (QR payment)
Card readers already built into Accutech · only Bizum needed
€300 Card payment terminal is already built into Accutech machines (5InTouch/7InTouch). For Bizum: QR stickers + gateway connection (MONEI/Redsys). If Accutech API is closed — LavaZum (covered by Kit Digital subsidy).
7 Detergent dispensers €800 Automatic dispensers for 5 connections + detergent stock
8 Legal setup + licences €1,500 Licencia de apertura (opening licence), actividad (business activity licence), seguros de responsabilidad civil (public liability insurance)
9 Working capital (3 months) €3,000 Detergents, electricity, water, internet, miscellaneous
10 Contingency reserve (10%) €3,850 Unexpected costs, delays, additional works
TOTAL ~€42,400 Conservative estimate
VAT Reclaim

€4,050 VAT on equipment import will be reclaimed via the quarterly IVA (VAT) declaration (provided the business is registered as a VAT payer in Spain). Effective net investment: ~€38,350. It is recommended to incorporate a new SL (Sociedad Limitada — Spanish limited liability company) for clean accounting and liability separation.

Bizum Integration

28 million users in Spain — connecting Bizum is critical for customer acquisition

What Accutech Already Includes

All Accutech machines come with a built-in payment system: coin acceptor + bank card reader + online payment via the 5InTouch / 7InTouch controller with 4G+WiFi connectivity. Also included: IoT platform for remote monitoring, statistics, and price management. No separate card-payment hardware is required — it is already included in the machine price.

What Needs to Be Added: Bizum Only

Bizum is Spain's #1 payment system (28+ million users). Cards and coins already work out of the box. We only need to add Bizum payment. Accutech controllers support remote cycle-start protocols (via IoT API with 4G+WiFi) — this allows Bizum to be connected via an external payment gateway without purchasing additional hardware.

OPTION B — WITH SUBSIDY
If Accutech API is closed
LavaZum / OpenVend
lavazum.com · Kit Digital
  • WiFi controller + QR sticker (parallel to Accutech)
  • Bizum + additional card acceptance via their system
  • Loyalty app and analytics
  • Kit Digital partner — government subsidy up to €12,000
  • Suitable if Accutech IoT API turns out to be closed/undocumented
  • Scales well across the franchise network
Kit Digital covers up to €12,000 → lavazum.com
OPTION C — FALLBACK
External hardware
Muxunav TELMARKT
muxunav.com
  • Hardware controller installed inside the machine (duplicates Accutech)
  • Bizum (QR), cards, Apple/Google Pay
  • Built-in SIM, remote management
  • Only makes sense if Accutech does not provide an API
  • Redundant: duplicates what Accutech already has
  • Spanish support, quick installation
€150–300 / machine → muxunav.com
Technical Flow: Accutech IoT + Bizum QR (Option A)

Key Question for Accutech

Confirm with Accutech: is documentation available for the 5InTouch/7InTouch IoT API for externally triggering a wash cycle? The controllers already support remote monitoring and online payment via 4G+WiFi — which means a remote control protocol exists. We need an endpoint or webhook for the command "start program X on machine Y".

Bizum Pay (NFC)
Mid-2026
Tap phone without a card — game changer
Bizum Pay NFC — launching mid-2026

Spanish banks announced the launch of Bizum Pay — tap-to-pay (NFC) without a physical card, similar to Apple/Google Pay but natively Spanish. Existing terminals will accept it via a software update. For an unattended laundry, this is a perfect fit for the audience that carries no cash and does not want to take out a card.

  • Ordenanzas municipales de Valencia — local rules on noise, signage, and business activity
Critical Path

The longest element is equipment shipping from China (35–40 days by sea). The search for premises and submission of licence documents must begin in parallel with placing the order. Customs clearance at the Port of Valencia: +5–10 days. Installation and connection: 5–7 days. Realistic launch timeline from order placement: 2–3 months.
